Take the guesswork out of your paid leave benefits.
Figure out what you’ll pay for Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (PFML Insurance) and how much you can expect to receive in weekly benefits while on leave. Benefits an employee receives under the American Fidelity PFML Insurance plan are equal to what an employee would receive under the state Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) plan, and the plan will not cost employees any more than they would be charged under the state FAMLI plan.
What You’ll Pay
The total contribution rate for PFML Insurance premiums can be up to 0.88% of your wages, up to the Social Security wage base, which is $184,500 for 2026. Your employer may deduct up to 0.44% from your paycheck, or 50% of the total rate (whichever is less). Your employer will pay the remaining portion. Talk to your employer about specific amounts and deductions from your paycheck.
Benefit Amount
Benefits will depend on your earnings compared to Colorado's State Average Weekly Wage.

Example amounts are illustrative only. Actual benefits are determined by Colorado FAMLI based on your wages, eligibility, and applicable program rules.

Colorado Division of Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program determines these amounts annually. Effective July 1, 2026, the Colorado State Average Weekly Wage will be $1,608.91 and the Colorado FAMLI weekly maximum benefit amount will be $1,448.02. These figures are subject to change.
