Types of Leave
Family
Up to 12 weeks in a 52-week period for bonding with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child, or for caring for a family member with a serious health condition
Military
Up to 12 weeks in a 52-week period to assist family members when a spouse, domestic partner, child or parent is deployed abroad on active service
Medical
Up to 26 weeks for any period of qualifying disability due to own serious health condition
The cumulative limit for all leave types combined is up to 26 weeks in a 52-week period.
