Types of Leave
Family
Up to eight weeks in a 52 week period to care for a seriously ill family member, bond with a new child, or participate in a qualifying event because of a family member's military deployment
Medical
Up to 52 weeks for CA worker's personal temporary disability or serious illness including pregnancy related disability

Benefit Amount: up to 70% (depending on income amount in your highest earning quarter). Maximum weekly benefit = $1,620 in 2024. |
