Well-being
Well-being
We believe that if we invest deeply in the physical, social-emotional, and financial well-being of APS staff, then they will experience greater personal well-being, feel more sustained and supported in their work and be better positioned to model well-being practices for students and support the whole child so our students survive.
Emotional well-being is essential for maintaining a positive and resilient mindset, especially in the high-demand environment of education. When staff feel emotionally supported, they’re better equipped to manage stress, build strong relationships, and create nurturing spaces for students. Our district offers a range of resources from Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, counseling support, and mindfulness activities to help staff navigate challenges and build emotional resilience. Prioritizing your mental health is not just beneficial for you, but also for the entire school/departmental community.
