Welcome aboard! As a new team member, we're excited to introduce you to your employee benefits. These benefits are more than just perks—they're a key part of your total compensation and our commitment to your well-being. We encourage you to explore these benefits and make the choices that best suit your needs. You have the option to meet with a Benefits Partner or elect benefits yourself. Meeting with a Benefits Partner will allow you to review available benefits, ask questions and get help with creating a personalized plan.

Atlanta Public Schools makes enrolling in your 2026 benefits simple and convenient by offering on-site support throughout the enrollment process. What To Bring To Your Appointment

• Driver’s license.
• Bank account information (to sign up for direct deposit)
 • Spouse and children’s date of birth and Social Security number if considering coverage for them.
• Beneficiary information, including (if a trust) full name and date of trust.

Maximize Your Income

Your benefits are offered under a Section 125 Plan, which may provide financial advantages. Under this plan, premiums for benefits are taken from your paycheck before tax, allowing you more spendable income.

Your Section 125 benefits don’t automatically renew each year, so be sure to complete your enrollment and sign your election form—even if you don’t plan to make any changes.
