New Enhanced Accident Limited Benefit Insurance Available Now

Anaheim Union High School District

American Fidelity is excited to introduce its newly enhanced Accident Plan, designed to help provide even more limited benefit coverage and support when you need it most. Best of all, there’s no change in premium when transitioning to the new plan if staying at your current tier. However, to make the switch, you’ll need to complete a new application and election form.

Key Enhancements to the Accident Plan:

  • Expanded Covered Benefits: The plan now includes additional coverage for ICU admission, traumatic brain injury, coma, miscellaneous surgery, and epidural pain management.
  • Higher Benefit Amounts: Receive increased benefits for a wide range of injuries, including lacerations, dislocations, skin grafts, severe burns, and fractures.
  • Extended Coverage: Certain benefits, such as follow-up treatments and X-rays, now have expanded provisions to help better support your recovery journey.
  • No Waiting Periods: The Accident Screening Benefit in the new Accident plan includes a benefit for one covered person to receive a covered screening including routine physical exams, preventive testing, and more with no waiting period required.
  • Exciting New Option: Introducing the Level 4 Accident Plan, which offers even higher benefit amounts for enhanced protection.

If you’re currently receiving benefits from an accident claim, we recommend consulting your American Fidelity account manager to determine the optimal time to apply for the new Accident Plan.

For questions about these enhanced benefits or to learn more, schedule an appointment with your American Fidelity account manager. We’re here to help you make the most of your coverage!
