Employee Management
During onboarding, you will choose a contact to receive leave requests, updates, and changes via email.
If this happens, you must add the employee to your census file, along with their termination date, prior hire date, and the rehire date.
This depends on the type of leave, your policies and procedures, and the rules that apply where you are located. Under FMLA, employers may choose to require or permit the use of accrued paid vacation leave, paid sick, or family leave for some or all of the FMLA leave period. However, some states or localities do not allow this. Check the requirements in your jurisdiction.
